The Cuban American rock band Clockwork is one of the longest running bands of the Miami music scene with a career that started in the mid 1970's. Their unique mixture of Cuban rhythms and Latin rock vibes have earned them a place in the record crates of discrimination rare funk DJs the world over. Their 1970's funk rock jam "Keep on Bumpin'" is now considered a Miami funk classic and has earned them fans in all corners of the globe. Led by producer Alex Cobos, Clockwork re-entered the studio in the mid 1980s after a long recording hiatus to record the gem presented here. "Made in the US of Japan" has all the elements of a great Clockwork album - Cuban soul, Latin funk and classic rock. Includes their special take on the Doors classic "Hello I Love You."
