22 tracks. LTM are pleased to announce a reissue CD by Benny Profane, the cult Liverpool alt. Pop band who released two albums and a slew of singles between 1986 and 1990. Singer/guitarist Dave Jackson and bassist Becky Stringer formed the Room in 1979, perennial John Peel favorites who released three albums. Benny Profane formed from the ashes of the Room in 1985, featuring Jackson and Stringer with guitarist Robin Surtees and drummer/guitarist Joseph McKechnie, ex-The Passage. This newly remastered CD features both albums in full, and includes stand out single tracks such as 'Rob a Bank', 'Hey Waste of Space' and the Ian Broudie- produced 'Skateboard to Oblivion'. The CD closes with two bonus tracks from the first BP demo in 1985, featuring Will Sergeant of Echo and the Bunnymen guest performing on guitar. Boutique. 2006.
