Seven all-new songs written and recorded by Stockholm’s psychedelic masters Dungen and adventurous Brooklyn indie-folk pioneers Woods. The third and most substantial entry into Mexican Summer’s Myths residency, a series featuring music recorded during the annual Marfa Myths festival. Previous contributors include Ariel Pink, Weyes Blood, Connan Mockasin and Devonte Hynes. Myths 003 comes on the heels of renewed activity for both bands: the past year saw the release of Woods’ tenth album, Love Is Love, and Dungen’s Häxan, a soundtrack of the 1926 masterpiece The Adventures of Prince Achmed, in 2016.
