Brain Drill started in the summer of 2005 by guitarist Dylan Ruskin and legendary underground drummer "Lord" Marco Pitruzella, formerly of Vital Remains, Vile, Vornager, the Faceless, Atrocious Hysteria and Numa. In the winter of 2006 Jeff Hughell was then added to the band as a new and permanent bassist.
